Eric did not kill Dylan.
The reason people believe Eric killed Dylan is because Dylan is holding his TEC9 in his right hand, and it is underneath his right leg. And Dylan was shot in the left temple. What those people don't know, is that it was not determined which weapon the fatal shot was fired from. It was a 9mm bullet, but from which gun is unknown according to official reports.

Another reason people believe Eric killed Dylan, is because of the position Dylan is in, in the Enquirer photos. But in those photos, Dylan's body has been moved. When he died, Dylan landed face first on Eric's knee. The photos prove this, yet ignorance still rears its ugly head. If Dylan landed on Eric's knee, Eric could not have killed him.

In the photos provided by the Enquirer, Dylan's body has been pushed backwards, and to his left. This is not a fall consistent with being shot in the left temple. This is the first indication that his body has been moved.

Bloodstain Pattern Interpretation is not, to my knowledge, included in any documents released by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. It would be wonderful if I could obtain such a document for my personal research, and for the research of this website.

The first thing to look at is the blood spatter on Eric's knee. It is apparent that the bullet's exit point in relation to it's target (Eric's knee) was close range. The majority of the blood (forward spatter) is on the top of Eric's pants, and not the side. This indicates that Dylan's exit wound (right temple) was almost, if not directly above Eric's knee. This is not consistent with the position Dylan was found in.

When dealing with gunshot wounds, the exiting projectile is accompanied by brain, tissue, and bone. If you look just to the left of Eric's knee, you will see Dylan's brain matter on the carpet. It didn't magically jump over Eric's knee.

Blood flows.

"...some of the blood flows on the face were also formed with the head in a position other than as found. These flows were consistent with KLEBOLD's head resting on the right side of the face to allow the blood flow on the left side out of the wound."

If you look at the right side of Dylan's head, you can see that the blood has been smeared on the side of his face above his cheek bone, and on his forehead. That is where his head landed on Eric's knee. If you were to push Dylan over on top of Eric's knee, his head would not directly rest on Eric's knee because the distance from his head to Eric's knee is about a foot and a half. This indicates that Dylan was pushed over pretty hard. Most likely kicked.

"There were blood stains on his right bicep and left center portion of his neck."

Look at Dylan's right bicep. There is a spot of blood that appears to have been slightly smeared. Next, look at the toe of Eric's left boot. There is a small blood smear that extends from the top of Eric's boot to the bottom. If you were to push Dylan over towards Eric, the blood smear on his right bicep would come directly in contact with the smear on Eric's boot.

"There was a bloodstain area on the back of his left arm above the elbow that was not consistent with being formed with the arm in the position found."

Was this from when Eric shot himself? Or was this from blood that was on someone's shoe when they kicked him over? It does not appear to be spatter... which would mean it did not come directly from any gunshot wound. Look at Dylan's legs. His left leg is extended over his right leg, and his knees are bent in such a way that would be consistent with his body being forced backwards. If you were to push Dylan from behind back to Eric's knee, he would end up in an almost-kneeling position, his TEC9 would be in his right hand, but not under his leg. His right bicep would rest on the toe of Eric's left boot, and the Carbine would almost be between his knees.

There is no evidence they were shot at the same time. The teacher who reportedly heard them count to three, then shoot, claims she never said that, and did not hear any counting, nor did she hear the two gunshots.

It's a shame it took 15 lives for you to teach the world something. It is  a shame it took 15 lives for you to finally be free. We love you, and we miss you, REB. Eric David Harris 4-9-81 to 4-20-99 ALWAYS REMEMBERED.
